Tp-link Announces Google Assistant Integration For Smart Home Products
Google Assistant integration for Google Home and Google Pixel requires that the TP-Link Kasa App remote control function be enabled. Once enabled, users can control their TP-Link smart home devices via voice control by saying “Ok Google,” “Hey Google” or “Hi Google,” followed by instructions and the name of the device. Enabled smart devices are named via the Kasa App. Google Assistant voice control provides the ability to switch smart devices on/off, or provide more detailed commands, including the ability to dim/brighten the lights or change the color of any color-enabled TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulb. Current color name options for color-enabled TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs include yellow, red, blue, purple, orange, green and pink.
